Drab to Fab Lamp Shade

I have had this boring, old plain white lamp shade for about 5 years now. I have always wanted to change it, but never got about doing so. So, armed with a few acrylic paints and sharpies, I changed my boring old plain white lampshade from this

to this

  4. @Somu: I was going to do that, but the design is on the seam side so when lit up, the seams are clearly visible. I was so excited to start this project that I did not think about such hindrances before hand.

  12. This is fantastic! Gotta 'pin' it. I did a lampshade last month with paisleys and doodles, but I painted it - gah! Should've used my Sharpies! Next time.
